Calendar Updated
Events calendar has been updated. Default view has been changed to a list style, but you can view a weekly or month by month calendar by clicking the Week or Month tabs top right.

Website updates
[update]: Tested 05/11/12 - should now be available to all on usual address. [+]
A quick update as to website progress, most of the old site has been migrated and where needed redesigned into the new system.
As Im typing this (quickly via my phone!) only a limited audience will be seeing the site, as we are waiting on the domain updates to ripple through the associated DNS server to point you to the new website.
This may take up to approximately 48 hours to complete. during that time some people may be able to see the site while others can't - This is normal.
Thank you all for your patience, and I hope you enjoy the new site - watch out for new features over the next few weeks too!

From the Chair.
Hello ALL. Welcome to the 2012/13 SARS Year. Well you made your choice ( point ) I'm still sat in this Chair !!
I would like to start by saying a thank you to 2 committee member who have wished to stand down, I hope only for a rest !! Hi. They are Rob G1WVV and Derek G1CWZ. Thanks for all your time and Input.
I would then like to say a big thanks also to those of you who have re stood along side me, and a welcome to the 4 New Committee members.
Just a word about the Club Web-Site: At the moment Chris G7NBP is working on a New Site that should greatly benefit the way the committee can keep you all up to date with Info and Events. Please bear with us.
The First Main Item to keep an eye open for is the Open Forum Evening, which is in place to allow you all to have input to what is to go on for the next year at the Club, Please attend if you can, it is important to get your feed back ( or feed in ).
2013 sees SARS 50th Birthday so keep a sharp eye open for the forthcoming activities.
Back to this year: I will be off to EA after the SARS Xmas Bash till mid Jan13, so Jean and I would like to wish you all a Good Christmas and a Happy New Year.I know its early but think of us our 2nd Xmas Bash is on the 13th Dec. in EA.

Sadly after recent updates to my servers the template system and CMS for the SARS site (and several others!) will no longer run without very extensive recoding.
The new site should hopefully not look too radically dissimilar to the old one, but should have a number of new features which you will find useful.
